GE Finance
The GE finance arm has already been the target of Barron's articles for quite some time. The articles mostly questioned the relative valuation of GE, compared to its poor financial sector peers. So, far GE has managed this subsidy extraordinary well, but I think GE is overvalued with a PE of 40 and a top line growth of a little more then 10%.
There are quite a few trends that could lead to a blow up -
the absence of gains from (internet) investments and the strong dollar.
GE works in competitive industries with foreign competitors (lighting, Jet engines) which are profiting from the high dollar.
IMHO

Mike, Barron's only writes about GE when they aren't getting enough nasty letters. <g> Just wait. Next week, the Welch suckers and GE loyalists will flood them with outrage that they should reveal the scam the co. has been using for 15 years.
