You can have your guvernment calling the shots on software enhancements and improvements to make life and work better...

I prefer Microsoft calling those shots.

if microsoft is found to be harmfull etc, i fail to see how the same argument cant be used aginst the drug companies that cause high drug prices on drugs that are protected by different intalectual property laws. there is no difference.
microsoft invests in its own tech.. and it protects it .
does this mean i can now violate a pattent , when in the deemed intrest of the public..
