One trick I have pondered using is to run SI on Explorer, with cookies on, and simultaneously use Netscape, with cookies off, for all other surfing.

One way is to go into My Computer. Select your C: drive then
Windows folder. Then Highlight the Cookies folder, under View, Select all. Then go to File and hit delete. Windoz and Netscape will just replace them so you don't really screw anything up, just after you do it, it takes a little longer to load a page until the new cookie is set. I have been using a neat shareware program called COOKIE PAL for a long time. It lets you set the cookies you want and reject the ones you don't. Works real slick. I downloaded that little program you were talking about over on the Burke thread and
it sure speeds up opening these pages (g)

Try using a program called Cookie Pal. You can download it from CNET or kburra.com. I have it set to accept all cookies from *.siliconinvestor.com and two other sites and that's about it. The rest of 'em get rejected. FWIW, I reject over hundred plus a day.

BTW, how do you purge all cookies without screwing up the sites you need to visit, like SI?

Here's another ad blocker, ok with SI: webwasher.com

I've been using this for a year, love it.
