"Kings are good but it looks like they take it on the chin a little harder than gorillas during a downdraft."

Not so look at Siebel. Ouch. Perhaps it's better to say very long established gorillas don't go down as much. But then again.. they probably don't go up as fast either. To put everything in proper perspective though. Most of my stocks are still at or above where they were in January. And I surely don't expect them to remain there through the end of this month.

We just have to deal with it. This year is a war zone. Two steps forward, one step back. We are migrating over to 'the new technology' primarly spawned by the internet. The 'old technology' will not pass the baton without a struggle (i.e. the houses/MM's etc.. have to also buy into the new technology). We need to treat this year a little differently and plan, expect and buy into these down periods.

Interesting to step back and look at the entire naz, dow and our economy in the G&K perspective. Chasm's and tornados are tumultous times. This is where a goodly portion of the naz is right now. The DOW (i.e. read the 'good ol boys' of the MM's) aren't going to 'accept' us until we are on main street. We snuck up on them this last year but no more. It will be a war until more companies in the naz cross the chasm and some more of our tornados cross into main street (i.e. main street = general acceptance).
