do MSFT's extensive war chest of tech investments present an asset that help mitigates any status or perception as a "contained gorilla"? They may well represent significant assets. But, are/could any of these assets, lead to a new area of gorilladom for MSFT ? I dont have the answer, but I suspect the answer to that question, would indicate if MSFT is a "contained gorilla" or not. I dont have the FM handy, but I do recollect it saying someplace "u will have plenty of warning about the demise of a gorilla" (or words to that effect). Are we seeing the start of those warning signs ? cheers, kumar
