I gave Dan the Wisdom of Bones-- he really liked it too. He bought a huge armful of Indian history- Trail of Tears, and some books on different massacres, and a book on the history of S. Africa which he said is a giant hole in his education. I'm drinking a beer and cutting pictures out of Southern Living. We've decided to start "doing something" with our yard. It's been intimidating us for 6 years. My proposal is to divide and conquer. Just pick little areas and make pictures with bushes and trees and things. (see how I know the lingo? things? ) Dan is pitching today- he put on his new uniform and it fell off. He has lost almost 30 pounds on this Atkins' Diet. Pretty soon we'll weigh the same and he'll be able to borrow my clothes. I have lost almost one pound. ALthough some days I gain one. I wish I had a biscotti. (biscotto?)
