now im really glad i didn't buy on friday.

right now, im more inclined to wait out in cash than being spun around (and stomach churning).

I was hoping the old techs would rally into the earnings quarter and then i would be ready to sell some to raise cash. (new techs)

but looks like things are happening earlier than planned.

$1 TRILLION dollars worth of Japanese postal bonds mature over the next two years. I believe that 4/1/00 was the first set of these to mature. A good chunk of this will probably go into US bonds .. just a little better rate than they have been getting ..

Looking at the exchange rate on the overnight futures market, it looks like some of that is gearing up to head our way. Euro exchange rate sayz the same thing, but not as much.

S&P and NDX futures look glum right now .. however in light of the above, I would not be surprised to see a gap down open and then a move up that doesn't look back ..
