Microsoft Saturday didn?t address how the failed settlement talks would impact the more than 100 pending civil lawsuits.
?In this area, Microsoft is sailing into very dangerous uncharted waters,? said Rich Gray, an antitrust lawyer of the firm Outside Counsel for Silicon Valley. ?There is strong federal precedent that a final judgment by Jackson can be used directly by the various plaintiffs attorneys in their lawsuits even while an appeal is pending,? Gray said."
