Garyx, I doubt that it will but -- if this SNDK patent holds up in court -- Sony will have to pay royalties on every Memory Stick :-) Craig re: "SanDisk has just been granted another patent on the design and construction of a flash memory chip, on the encasement of the printed circuit board in plastic, and on the actual design and shape of the metal contacts that connect the unit to a computer, camera, or other appliance. This patent, frankly, is so broad and covers such a large range of applications that it ensures the dominance of SanDisk in the fast growing market for nonvolatile, solid state digital storage."
