Instat is a silicon valley "research" firm like Forrester Research, who issue pie in the sky forecasts that are used by their clients who pay huge yearly "subscription" fees. And guess what? Intel is listed as a "subscriber" The fact remains that no third party testing has EVER shown rdram to be more than fractionally faster than SDRAM costing 1/4th the price. I don't know about you, but I trust non-paid third party testing more than I trust paid for press releases or "forecasts".
