Coin/bullion dealers dislike the K-rand and only pay $5-10 under melt for them.
They have come a long way from the #1 gold bullion coin to where they are today.
US sanctions killed the K-rand.

We have had test's of this during financial turmoils... most recently in the fall '98 'tech wreck' gold stocks went bananas. That was proof enough for me that gold stocks have negative B's and will fly during stock market crashes.
