your hysterical response to the Willamette demo.

Where are those 1.5 GHz Willy's?

Too bad Chic wasn't here to see your hysterical response to the Willamette demo. Remember that one when you said it was incredibly slimy for Intel to claim Willamette was running at 1.5GHz on a .18u process? Well Willamette was and you looked really dumb for making that hysterical accusation.

EP,

Its too bad chic missed your MIA-thlon for months last year; if you think that's informative, then you probably think "South Park" is high art!!

Elmer, personally I think it is incredibly slimy of you to keep bringing this up without also mentioning the circumstances. Scumbia made that statement after the first day of IDF when it was reported that the word presentations were done on a different slower Willy; and that the demo with 1.5 ghz meter was done only for a brief moment; and the reporters weren't allowed to inspect demo machine; leading to speculation that the Willy was cooled with freon. Scumbia had no knowledge the reports were false; and that statement was made after hearing that speculation from Anand and Tom Pabst. After the reports were cleared up, to my knowledge Scumbia never again made that statement; unlike you who has continually brought up false reports of "yield is good" and banners etc. even after they were shown to be false. An honest mistake is one thing; an outright lie is another.
