I just skim read Paul's stuff because he is sometimes the first to post rumors.

Whether the rumors are true or not, it is good to hear them early.

And as for his vitriolic responses to innocent posts, he gets a kick out of stirring it, and sometimes he can be amusing. If you don't want to play his games just don't respond when he flames you.
