Softbank "eating its children"

I think this to me shows that the average investors buying Softbank in Japan (and many in the US) are unclear on the concept. The internet is constantly evolving, and the greatest money to be made is in identifying and buying new cos at an early stage. Where is the money supposed to come from to buy new cos if not from selling off parts of those already post-IPO?

However, crazy talk about "earnings", and "fears of cash flow" shows how easily these stocks can be manipulated by "analysts"; I think most investors were just buying Softbank because it was going up, now the momentum has shifted a bit.

Obuchi is now in a coma, so if he was part of the new Japan initiative with Son, understandable how uncertainty here might adversely affect Softbank's price, so I agree with you on both counts, really.
