Al

I need to clarity the Macd's.

There are 3 main one of value use in entry/exit point on a trade on Daily charts.

8-17-9 (short 1-3 days)
12-26-9 (intermediate 1-3 weeks)
13-34-89 (long 1-3 months)

People play the x-overs game with these indicators. Some people use x-over of the fast and slow lines or the x-over of the zero line. Look at the chart to see what I am talking about.

This should get you started in determining your own
entry(buy)/exit(sell)point on a trade.

Have a splendid day!!!

Is Andy G. the gentleman that started this Subject? I believe his last post was in October. Anyone know why he left? I have been reading the thread archives, and he, and the others you mention were all very helpful and enthused with their participation.

I feel like I am late to the party, and as a beginner I am reviewing what has already been offered here. But I would be disappointed to see this group disband.

It seems a thread, like a party, needs a host. Not fair to ask the heavy lifters from the past few years. This is supposed to be TA for beginners, that would be me, but a host should be experienced.

Now it would be real special if Gonzongo answered this post himself.
