"not still sure VPI is a great target " Q - ?

It's the value in the ground that makes them a target, didn't you just endorse the valuation discount per the nice research done by Dan Wilson ? - heck, I just got an email saying VPI would ramp today since I just mentioned it as a takeout play (VBG) ~ - what's it doing so far ? - someone thinks they were STILL cheap today ~

I think Dan Wilsons great research still shows that it's the CHEAPEST ?

When was the last time there were more than 20 posts on the VPI board over the weekend? This should give us an indication of the raised level of interest in this sector and in our mid-cap E&Ps.

I've just been handed the updated spread sheet comparing market values of 28 U.S. Independents. We now have complete data on all 28. VPI is still the best value trading at $4.13/BOE of Proven Reserves.

Let me look over the data and I've post a complete report in about 30 minutes. >>

"Q" - actually, imo - take a breath; think first then shoot/post later - not vice-versa...

Quadrupling down on UPR ? - why; I sold ALL of my UPR - trading & Long Term acct this am; what did you expect the market to do ? "Q" - C'Mon - did you not think the first thing the Street would do was to sell & short APC ? - and what does that do to the value given the ratio of APC:UPR?

Let it shakeout - the decision is simple; take the UPR money and rotate unless you think APC will outperform something else you like - nothing more complex than that.

Don't hesitate, or quadruple down imo -just make the simple decision & move -

1. Sell & rotate

2. Hold UPR for APC; for the move later, if you think APC will outperform what else is out there
