I wonder why the stock started moving up a little bit just as we got word of the judge's ruling today.

My guess is either short covering---ie take profits.
I don't know how long that would last.

It could be possible that such so much selling actually occurs by the end of the day that any slight positive could actually result in a rally.

Good. I'm glad he didn't let it drag out another week. Unfortunately the stock will still be under a cloud as we wait months for the sentence. At a guess it's back to the same old trading range after the ruling.

Hey, you old-timers out there, is this the biggest single-day drop in MSFT? It's the biggest I can recall.

P.S. to abbigail re. a day late I was referring to April Fools Day, though it looks like you and I are now short many dollars, eh? :(
