"Please provide what reassurance or faith you are basing your new purchases on?"

No such animal. I'm long and don't relish taking the loss, but I'm not buying - not yet. To my chagrin, I pretty much agree with what you've said, cockroach theory and all.

Further, if you can even mention 'accounting fraud' in a LGTO post, the lawyers can too. Stocks don't close gaps in the face of class-action suits.

I do sense recovery here (maybe not today, but later in the week). However, it's not recovery in the sense of 'healing'. It's recovery in the sense of improving one's exit point.

I'd be very interested in Ken Landis's views right now. Not only has LGTO wounded him, but he's also had a big hit in PMCS. I hope fund redemption requests don't force him to prematurely liquidate any of his positions. That would take my stocks down another notch further.

On the ratings front-
I haven't seen any downward revision from Wit SoundView yet, but.....
Bear Stearns downgraded from Buy to Neutral
Merrill Lynch downgraded from Near-Term Accumulate to Near-Term Neutral, keeping its Long-Term Buy rating.
