msft opened 3/1 april 95's at 8

brcm sold this am at 230
emc sold this am at 126

now about 70% cash....nothing to do with market fears, but can generate many dollars monthly against cash...

e.g...sold brcm common at 230....can write brcm april 230 puts at 19, may at 30, jan at 56........who cares about the loss of upside potential....to me it's about income that is safe, and the strategy plays into the market craziness...
