Hi Bryan. I don't disagree. In an earlier post to Mike I mentioned that 4290, 4300 is critical and all bets are off if we close under that. I don't care what we do intra.

I still hope and feel we have a decent shot at a close at 4457 or so and if that's the case I'll still feel pretty good about a potential recovery during earnings.

At this point, one thing to keep in mind is the 23% drop we took in the summer of '98. I believe that's the worst in my recent memory.

A 23% drop on closing basis this time dumps us to 3900. Again I suppose it's possible, seems excessive given the circumstances.

Best to you and everybody here. This is a painful correction for all of us.

And yes we should all look harder at playing a well rounded type of trading (and long term) ports. I know you mention a lot of alternatives. I've mentioned (not bought) the likes of LUV, LE, DIS, PSUN, TOY etc in recent weeks.
