(OT) Nasdaq now down 6.6% (300 pts). Wondering what the spin will be the next few days/weeks. My guess is that fund managers will be talking about the buying op in techs. This weakness may last another 1-2 weeks, but we haven't seen the last of tech buying.

There are some techs I that I'm interested in buying if prices are hit. I like NITE at 44 or lower, WCOM below 40, and GBLX if 35 or lower is seen. I know this is an oil thread, but I would be interested in any large cap tech suggestions on my PM if we get a further correction. I would imagine most of the suggestions would be techs with earnings since most are value investors here.

Bought APC today at 33 7/16 after selling my UPR this morning. I really like this merger long term as both companies are exploration heavy weights. Take a look at earnings and cash flow estimates for APC for 2000, 2001 and 2002. I think APC should double within 18 months from it's current levels.

Edit: Just bought an initial stake in NITE at 45 1/8 (Knight makes markets in tech stocks - volume has been surging on the Nasdaq).
