Angry Bees Attack Charity Walkers

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Angry bees attacked more than 300 people, many of them doctors, on
a charity walk to raise cash for a hospital in which they ended up being treated for their stings, the
Dawn daily newspaper reported Monday.

The walkers were on their way to an open-air concert in the Punjab provincial capital of Lahore at
the end of their charity march Sunday when ``some miscreants reportedly provoked honey bees by
pelting stones at their hives,' the newspaper said.

``A large number of people including students of Fatima Jinnah Medical College and doctors from
the Ganga Ram Hospital were stung by the furious bees,' it said. ``The music program had to be
cancelled.'
