Zeev, There you go again throwing valuable pearls to us newbies. I have to say thanks again. I had begun to think of "stop loss orders" as a ridiculous tool (imagine having them activated at around noon on tuesday of this week!!) But you mention stop loss "on a closing basis". What a great idea. Might get you out a little late but definitely avoids the market's manipulations during those rollercoaster days! How does one do that on an internet trading site like e-trade? Is it possible ? or do you have to do such things thru a broker. BTW be looking for a PM, if I can figure out how to do that. Rob
