I totally agree that Scumbria is one of the really valuable posters on both threads. Some of his stuff does crack me up, like his German translations.
And no, certain people shouldn't be in the market at all. But a misleading post might be the one to tip a decision. Besides, such posts are tedious. Even Sumbria's.

I think Scumbria legitimately feels threatened by Willamette, like many others on this thread. So that the particular post you cited was not an attempt at humor but really his true position on the subject. Besides why should Scumbria refrain from expressing his humor....isn't that censorship? Should they not have broadcast the Orson Welles play over radio because some people believed that the Martians were invading?

Finally,is Scumbria not human? He makes mistakes just like the rest of us....the fact that he is more right than wrong does not make it alright to believe every word that comes out of his mouth.

Besides if paul ma is typical of AMD's new investors, I don't think we have anything to worry about no matter what Scumbria says.
