I agree totally, Rock. Once we put MSFT behind us. . .there is much good news ahead. . to overstate the obvious [something I do daily, to the benefit of those still learning]. . . .without warnings. . either everyone meets earnings. . .or some beat them. .. and of course the odds are they beat them. . .WHICH beat, of course is the question. I would be looking mostly at fibre optics, internet services and wireless. . . but would be wary of most internet issues. . .as I think we are too close to the time when the investment world discovers that there will be more internet losers than winners. . . hello? AMZN still sounds good. . .I believe they could show profits any time they wished, simply by suspending their expansion. . .YHOO? Didn't they miss last quarter? If so, why would they beat this quarter? Playing PMCS, BRCM, INSP, CHKP and BRCD into earnings. Wish I had more to go on than a hunch. . .it sounds so non-scientific. . . but I believe that earnings reports leak like the Titanic. And since these issues kept topping my "early bouncers" list, my feeling is that those "in-the-know" were first to jump on them. . . I spoke of this before. We shall soon see if that theory works. . . .if so, we could clone it and put it in our bag of tricks. Rock, I liked your picks earlier today. . .but was so occupied with the Nasdaq vs. the MSFT ruling. . . that I could not take part. Your track record over the past 12 months, in choosing story-driven position trades, is excellent and worthy of more attention. Incidently, I am getting the feeling that MSFT goes lower tomorrow. . . <shrug> Rande Is
