This is a wall street sell off and they are laughing their commissions all the way to the bank. Individuals will stay put. Microsoft and the DOJ gave the big boys the momentum to switch into the old economy stocks.
This is not really a correction. In a correction, money comes out of stocks and goes into bonds or the money market, not to different sectors of stocks.
After Wall Street spooks enough money out of the techs, they will buy back.
