FEAR - getting a sense that we will put in a bottom over the next week. Fear is becoming palpable. Hard to find anything which is holding up well on the NASD. Whatever sector of technology is holding up will probably emerge as the new leader. Notwithstanding the excellent short term earnings prospects for the specialty semi group, the technical carnage seems too severe for the group to be the continuing/next leader. Too much outflow of $$$. Market caps have been halved in many former darlings. As margin calls further materialize this week, I expect we will go down further. All that said, went long AMCC at the close looking to sell an am bounce. Any thoughts on New Leaders emerging?
