William, your point is ridiculous. The bundling is done by OEMs all the time, not only with Microsoft products but with other companies' products too. This is done because their market research tells them that they can differentiate their product by "bundling" more software and also because they get special breaks for volumes. You may not like it, but it would be stupid of the OEMs to break down the costs and tell the consumers about all the costs. Intel and other hardware manufacturers are trying to integrate more and more features on the motherboard all the time. Do they break down the costs for you ? In the future, the Serial port will not be required. But 2 of them are on most motherboard these days. Have you EVER complained about this ? Get real.
