A few months ago, this is what Gates said the reaction in techs would be if this scenario played out. Klein and the DOJ just pranced around on stage saying that MSFT was just trying to scare the markets.

Market reaction showed Bill to be correct. As I listened to Klein and Reno talk today I felt ill. Not about MSFT but they laid out there plan for technology. As expected this whole case serves as the entre to controlling high technology. They basically stated that they will make the rules as they see fit, they reserve the right to control product pricing. Sounds like they are formulating an industrial policy for high tech to me.

I'm an independent and have prided myself on voting for the best candidate regardless of party affiliation. At this time, based on the actions of one party with regard to tobacco, guns, now high tech and working once again to go after the pharmaceutical's ref pricing of drugs I'm 90% sure I will not be voting for any donkey's come November.

Regards,
