Jim,

Gates is in control. He chose to violate the antitrust laws, he chose to fight the government's suit when he could have received an extremely favorable settlement over a year ago, he chose to lie in his deposition and ultimately he chose not to accept the government's latest settlement offer. Gates thinks MSFT is above the law and today marks another example of how wrong his judgment has been with respect to this suit. Wait til the private antitrust actions take off later this year.

That noted, fear of the unknown is the worst thing for a stock. I could see MSFT closing up tomorrow, but believe its long term trend is down. By the way, I'm hoping Sun will bounce strongly back. This should help: yahoo.cnet.com

Hi Jim,

I am a SUN bull from way back, but SUN holders will regret this day in the future...

We have now let lawyers and BIG governement in the american high-tech industry decide what is proper....

We will all suffer for this later

Take care
Jean
