Tony, I think there were other thing going on with VRTS that caused a selloff. I don't think we will get a repeat performance as the speculative buyers--who are buying just for an expected run up to an addition have probably given up on that idea with what happened to VRTS. That is good for JDSU stock, IMHO.
When and if it actually happens, the investors will be in this stock and not traders.

I still think VRTS is getting hammered due to other factors as the addition to the S and p would have resulted in only a temporary spike in price as it did with Yahoo.
With JDSU, I think there will be reluctant sellers.

Lets see.

BTW-Maybe VRTS and other high PE software and B2B type of stocks can start rallying. I am betting VRTS will move up ahead of earnings.
