SNDK Patents

Would any of you SNDK followers be willing to provide your interpretation of these two recent announcements related to SNDK patents/IP. I don't own SNDK yet, but am considering taking a position based on the Lexar victory. However, the Mitsubishi suit tempers my enthusiasm.

I'm trying to get a better understanding of the breadth and defensibility of their patent portfolio. Also, trying to determine the length of CAP it provides. (I.e. Is this an area where a discontinuous innovation is likely within the next year or so that would replace them.)

Announcements:

I started GG investing in January after reading the field manual in late '99. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough knowledge of SNDK and RMBS at the time to invest (kicking myself now). With SNDK now about 40% off it's high, I don't want to be looking back a few months from now and kicking myself for missing another great buying opportunity--which it probably will be if this lawsuit victory turns out to be a seminal event.
