>>>If you believe that MSFT's only interest is in product innovation for you, the consumer, as they keep telling you, then you probably also believe that Al Gore invented the Internet.<<<

But he did, didn't he?

-ggg-

The judge was pissed off!

I doubt that you would find a high court judge in a high profile case, showing such emotion, unless it was warranted.

Down with oppression - stick it to billy boy and the softie thugs.

Stock Profit,

So what do you think should be done about Microsoft, such an oppressive company as you alledge. Your comments are nonsense. You cannot show harmful conduct towards the consumers. MSFT may have done some of the things to the competitors as you say. However, in a free market, all of these things are done by everybody and the market forces don't let anybody do this for long.

While softie may have done everything the judge and you say, and it may not be "nice," it is not necessarily illegal. And lots of softie's critics have done similar things. did you notice complaints some months ago about SUNW and its handling of Java vis-a-vis other java developers. SUNW was being accused of using softie-like tactics.

Dispite what the "blood-sucking lawyers" as saying, I will bet you won't find many consumers who were "damaged" by softie's actions. Just look at all that has happened in the technology industry during the years that softie has been so "bad."

My betting is that Judge Jackson will be 0 for 3 once the Appeals Court gets this case. However, long it takes, that is what I am rooting for.

BS!

"The government has no (NO) interest in managing how future products are manufactured."

The govt is interested in managing anything we let them manage.

"This case is not about product architecture, it's about MSFT abusing its position of market dominance. They have intimidated, squashed, manipulated, bought, and screwed their competition at every opportunity."

Business is war pal. It is about DESTROYING your competition before they destroy you. The problem with the whineys like SUNW et al is they weren't able to do the same thing FIRST.
