I agree Kevin. The market was heading for a good day today. It would have bounced if it had not been for msft. The bad news is out. msft alreay up in AH. We should have a better day tomorrow.

KM - yes, daytrading and scalping only on any bounce. I will take the small point moves and then close out by the EOD. Still feel we could see retail pressure into any gap, however, on many plays we are getting to the point of why sell - if people held they are already down big!

From here on out, time to play the momo and take profits as we go, not holding a single stock in my long term at this point. If the market hits into the mid 3000 or so, then I would build back up a long term portfolio.

KM,

I agree that the only way to survive in this market is to daytrade. For the last little while, my theme song has been scalp here, scalp there, scalp everywhere <ggg>! Certainly considerable money can be made in this volatile environment, but one must be nimble and accept the necessity of being tethered to one's computer.

PS: I must admit that I too bought into some positions EOD. Temptation was too strong...
