Elmer << Many people here scoffed at the claim and the poster said it was visible from the lobby and anyone could see it for themselves. I went to the fab and I saw the poster and it said 1 Million CuMines in 1 week from Fab12, not from all fabs combined. >> I'm not going to guess how many coppermine's intel made this past quarter, like you said intel will likely quote some numbers and we'll know then. However, I think the assertion that intel has a sea of parts ready to flood the market and destroy athlon penetration has thusfar shown to be widely inaccurate. Maybe they made 20 million or 50 million, or 100 million, but it sure doesn't look like there are that many out there, and it seems quite clear they aren't getting anywhere near the binsplits that amd is right now.
