bill... if you had read my posts in the past since you last posted you would see where my opinion has been refined over time notwithstanding the totally stellar contributions by Edwarda to the analysis. windchill still rocks, but not the way it was intended, though it could have. J

William. Here's a prediction! I predict that the lack of success of WC is in fact a leading indicator that corporations are not either able or willing to take on the responsibility and associated costs to build corporate wide internet technology based solutions. In a year or so, when corporations look back and audit what they have done, they will be amazed by the failures, in strategy, design, and implementation. It will become obvious that there is in fact a lack of productivity, rather than a gain, not because of the technology of course, but because the skill sets of corporate leaders are still old economy based.
