Zeev,

I can't believe you of all people are being so short sighted. What Don and Steve are saying about Win2K is very true. I have been running Win2K since last Oct and would not consider going back to Win98 even if you paid me to. I have yet to have it crash and at one point ran it for two months without rebooting!!! And I often have as many as 20 or more windows open at a time. Win98 just is just not up to handling anything close to kind of load.

Being up during market hours without interruption is of utmost importance to me. Currently I have both Win2K and NT4 workstations here running with an NT4 server. I will be upgrading the NT4 WS to Win2K as soon as Adaptec can provide compatible CD-ROM R/W software. Always check for Win2K compatibility before upgrading any system. This is very important, particularly for H/W drivers. My server will be upgraded soon too.

Do as Steve says and get a second computer with Win2K on it so you can make the transition gradually with minimal impact on your day to day activities. You will not be disappointed. I think you will find it very easy to use with a learning curve of a day or two based on your Win98 experience.

And I see no reason why you can't run Netscape on it if you like, even though I think IE5 is a superior product at the moment.
