From what material do I shape
a life of moments made?
What stone is carved to make
a life of fond memories?
Is metal, wood where they are stored
to remember days put aside?
Is this attempt to create
just a reflection of pride?

If art is made for arts sake
Is life lived for lives sake

Who is this echo reaching out
touching inside turning out
Carving words from inside me
To find out if I really see

If from mountain top I shout
would valley far hear words come out
Or would the echoes ring unknown
In eyes of readers never shown

Who will be the one to break this magic spell
Of crystalline words from our souls well
