Thanks Kip,Wheeew,So that means the NAZ only dropped 268.15 points. Heck I was worried about a melt down - Man I feel better <g>.

In the long term ,as this case evolves,I view greater competition entering the high margin ,high multiple software business as a positive towards continuing the internet/digital revolution's relentless expansion. I view it short term ,as a great buying opportunity.

The real negative of it all is I think it is poor government policy to take on success.Tomorrow we'll read about an imbalance in the trade accounts and wonder why we're not competitive.

When I was 19 I left home to go work for General Motors. At that time the biggest fear was "antitrust". The rumor went GM would be forced to split our Chevrolet Division from the rest of GM.Well history shows that fear to have been sufficiently minimized by guess what - Competition.
This competition sure didn't come from the government.Instead, it came from foreign subsidized car manufacturers who ,also by the way ,had a great idea - fuel efficient cars(nevermind the government taxed the gas 2-3 dollars per gallon).

Our industry should not be attacked by our government They should be globally encouraged. It should be a source of national pride that we have the cheapest best software companies in the world - not a headline grabbing politician's news media opportunity.

JMHO

Oh yes Buy the dip - just before great earnings come out - you just have to question the timing ? Go figure!
