sandeep, what a major bunch of hooey, no company should own the crown jewel (the core os) and all the little jewels around the core OS (apps, internet browser, etc)

THUS stifling other companies that may be able to specialize in a section of software and do a much better job than msft.

are you really so naive to think the bill gates is solely interested in whats best for the customer -g-.

Bill Gates is a businessman, he wants to keep the jewels all for himself and uses his leverage to do that.

Your allow one company too much control, that is not in keeping with a democractic free enterprise system and fair competition,

they should break up the company and have separate companies for OS, apps and internet browser, open up the system and allow other companies to compete on an even playing field.

the shareholders would probably make out better, as would customers.
