A PS2 costs around 400 bucks imported. I can't even buy 128 megs of PC ram for that cost. And with the playstation I get a dvd player, a videogame, a cd player, all in one box. Here's a hint- rambus is in the playstation because intel/rambus are subsidising the costs. If the 32 megs of RDRAM in the playstation 2 were priced anywhere near what PC RDRAM costs, the playstation would cost around 600 bucks.

And I didn't fall for any marketing. I would have bought the playstation 2 if it had ram with Jeff Bezo's signature on it and a Amazon patent. I just wanted the games.

KIS you hate rambus, but you've already imported (or so you cliamed) a PS2 from Japan. There are two Rambus memory chips in your new PS2! You sap. What a sucker you are!! You fell for the marketing. The tech did not matter to you.

Don't you feel rather silly, KIS?
