Re: "Your memory of history is about as good as your predictions of Sun's share price"

I agree. A few weeks ago, I called the short term bottom at around $75 and more recently called a top just below $100. OK, so it went over a little for a few days, but anybody trading on my advice at either point would be in profit on both trades.

As for the history, read what my post said. I didn't say Netscape was free to businesses, I said I don't remember anybody paying for the browser. That includes business users. Netscape my have given lip service to wanting corporate users to buy people downloaded it for free from the office in droves.

As you follow my predictions so closely, and they have been right with regard to SUNW price, let me do you the favour of predicting that SUNW will be trading in the high $70's this year (or lower if the stock splits). From there, it is too early to tell whether it will wait for earnings to justify the price, or if the price will fall further to meet the earnings.

And while we are having fun here, I will predict that MSFT stock price will be ahead of SUNW at the end of the year. I do not have a position in either stock.
