4/3/2000 Closing price 19 11/16, intraday range as high as 24 3/8 - "Once the big sellers are through, then a more "normal" market will return. I can't predict precisely when, but sometime in the next 5-10 trading days, we will begin to repair this damage. I can wait that long."

5/10/2000 Closing price 14 5/8
Nice call. Anybody want to step up and tell us how much money this mm is making you on this .... 'thinking'?

Know the aphorism "Be careful what you wish for." This person didn't know what he was asking for but it is certain that a "normal market" is not what this person wanted.

Loss on "another 5k," - $25,000.00. Loss on shares "picked up" "earlier in the day as well." $$$
Loss on mentality - immeasurable.

Stocks don't go down because of mysterious, conspiratorial "short coalitions." They go down because of perceptions of a diminution in discounted future earnings streams.
