Zeev, the CIO from ML was on the NBR today, and he appeared to support your comments. Said MSFT got things started, but that this is really a Nasdaq correction taking place. Unfortunately, he doesn't think it's over quite yet.

Hopefully it will soon turn around, but my main concern is that the campaign against our stock comes to an end, as Paul explained. I'd hate to see more shareholders get caught with margin problems and have to give up their shares if it drops any more before we get back to normal.

Zeev: In other words, an inflection point in market sentiment has been reached? Could be, could be. But if you've a long term horizon, and believe in buying when there's blood on the streets and much catawailing going on by the herd.....well.....just like the value side a month or so ago; there's now some good bargains out there if you've the cash to deploy.

Now let's see if the shortie tacticians have completed their VLNC gambit. One signal will be a true reduction in that ask size. Not the by now routine pause, HAMMER...pause....HAMMER....long pause...buyers come out of their hole, nibble....GOT'CHA...hammer, hammer, HAMMER.....

One could say that routine has become predictable, eh? ;-)
