I think the time to buy THQI will be very soon: as soon as the Naz finishes its plummet and rallies. What I would look for then is weakness in THQ as some traders take money from THQ and throw it at the beaten-down techs for a few days.

But I don't blame anyone for taking a position now. I agree with Doc on all points, but I would say that ERTS is not excessively valued in relation to the S&P 500, given ERTS's leadership position and (perhaps more importantly) its coming tracking stock.

Speaking of ERTS, I also thought it might really crash once it broke 68. It still might, and I probably should maintain my bias (I short ERTS as often as I buy it long), but seeing it in the 60s is really tempting the latent bottom-fishing swing-trader in me. I am not very worried about the state of the Nasdaq. It seems to me that we're just seeing a continuation of the money-rotation we saw earlier this year when the Naz soared and the Dow plunged.
