Hal - re: I think that some investors and institutions will require additional profits from Microsoft just to maintain current prce levels. In other words, some of the PE premium will evaporate and future pricing will be effected.

Good point, and I agree - still, it will run up above 100 pretty quickly, which will be a nice short term pop for me if I can get in on those LEAPs... and after that, a great vehicle for selling calls, and a solid base of a core portfolio. The days of huge growth for DELL are over too, but still, 20% per year or so sure beats the bank rates.

Well, maybe they'll go out and re-reinvent themselves, call
themselves Yashoo or Blamazon and then revenue, profits, P/E's, and the whole ball of wax goes out the window (no pun intended). Then what?
