Thanks for the bodycheck, Tom

Staying the course on QCOM. Just checkin'. Some days I just get a little excited about JDSU when it sticks such a nice "buy op" in my face like today.

Resting in a launch chair at the Cape. A-N-T-I-C-I-P-A-T-I-O-N

Damn it's going to be a beautiful thing when Nokia relents. At times I get so excited I can barely see the launch pad.

P.S. SI Awards? Um!! Best flame? The "Stickface"
Technical Excellence? The "BEEMR"

Merrill Lynch TA on QCOM dated 4/3/00>

Technician?s Corner
Don Kapetenakis, Vice President,
Market Analysis

QCOM Qualcomm; C319; $148 11/16
Qualcomm recently established a bottoming process with a
break through key resistance around 146-148. That
previous resistance area at 146-148 is now expected to
provide support during short-term pullbacks.
Intermediate-term support is indicated around 128. As an
initial target, the stock is expected to retest its highs around 200.
A breakout to new highs would set up a subsequent target around 236.

Hi Voltman, so by what your feelings and Angels are telling you about the next quarter being the one with QCOM, does this mean that if a person is loaded for elephant with all July options on QCOM (me @ 95%of portfolio) that this person (me again) should be ok?

Thanks Master in advance

(the bad side to this if the answer is yes, is once I get my lawn and shrubs out of the pawn shop I'll have to start cutting grass and trimming shrubs again)

In response to techguerrilla, you said "fundamentally I never have a clue but logically it would be QCOM....."

<Rose carefully walks up the porch steps and taking off her hat, clears her throat and says>

In my most humble opinion, I think because QCOM has to rely on a separate entity which is beyond its control - namely Nokia or T to come around in some form, that perhaps JDSU who just have to rely on the continued brilliant leadership of their managment, is the one that will make the big move first.

<Rose, pauses. Listens for a moment or two. Nothing. Dang it all she mutters - turns to leave>

<changes her mind and with hat in hand, bows deeply from the waist. Stepping carefully backwards, she exits the porch, all the while thinking to herself, I wonder why its okay to describe actions in the third person and not ......, oh well, I'll just whistle a happy tune.
