EPI, if I am wrong it won't be the first time. I am basing my position on my knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing. I do not have access to the package or any inside information but I am basing my position on the reasonableness of the claim, not on the alleged datecode which is not in evidence here. If the datecode truly says ww09 of '99 then that needs to be addressed as I don't think a marking error by AMD is likely. Let me ask you this, in the absence of a verifiable datecode, do you think my position is flawed and if so where?
