Vitesse makes GaAs chips. Recently I read that a no. of
companies are making SiGe chips among them Atmel.
Supposedly SiGe is cheaper to make, faster??, draws less
current therefore cooler. Both go into cell phones etc.
Do you know the comparative info.? and whether each has its own niche and corner of the market?
