Hey JA...(me too, off to bed, way past my time)...saw the CCs 2 months ago, at a very intimate theater...they were sooooo good. I would see them again in a heartbeat.

Good taste!

Burnin' Down The House

All whorehouses starting with Fidelity are on my hit list, Jeremy.

Got a story for you, baby.

Part 1: In 1974, while going to UNC Law School, I won lottery tickets for the Final Four in Greensboro, N.C. Semi-finals: Bill Walton's UCLA up by 7 in the third overtime against David Thompson's NCState. Keith Wilkes and Tommy Curtis slapping each other five at the tipoff circle. Then? NCState scores the final 8 points. Burn down the house? OH MY GOD! I went nuts.

Part 2: A friend of mine who I took to the NCState game called me in 1976 and said it's pay back time. Yep! Watched my undefeated Hoosiers win their first title in Philadelphia.

Part 3: The semis in Philly were on Saturday afternoon. Do you think I was going to spend the weekend in Philadelphia? W.C. Fields would have been disappointed in me. I hopped a train and met my law school roommate at Grand Central Station early Saturday night. He met me there and said, "Oh do I have a treat for you. Get in the cab." What did he have in mind? TALKING HEADS AT THE CBGB. Oh, Jesus, Jeremy. They weren't even famous yet. It was pre-Talking Heads '77. THEY BURNED DOWN THE HOUSE and I was in the front row.

Just porchin'
Good to be back
John
